This new series is both an intentional and organic evolution of my earlier work. I've embraced a looser, more intuitive process, allowing each painting to reveal itself rather than following a predetermined plan.

I'm excited by this new direction in my figurative practice because it remains rooted in my ongoing exploration of women's empowerment while introducing figures that feel more mysterious, ethnically ambiguous, and emotionally layered. As women, we hold countless contradictions and complexities, and these paintings seek to honor that richness—capturing not a single identity, but depth, resilience, and connection.
